For seniors that don't like change, moving into the independent living portion of a CCRC allows seniors to make just one retirement move and that move is dome while they are strong. Moving into a CCRR early means they can start adjusting to the new "active and social retirement lifestyle" that most CCRCs offer. Since most Denver CCRCs are large facilities, they have a wide range to activities and social events that can enrich the retirement years. CCRCs also offer the safety of an emergency response system and on-call staff. As a senior's health requirements change and they become weaker, it is a simply move from one part of the facility to another. Once they move in, senior can make friends and keep those friends even while in the nursing home or hospice portion of the facility. Great place!While it is not the most modern assisted living that my son has been in, it is definitely the friendliest. The staff is exceptional! The are always asking what they can do better. I feel comfortable leaving my son in Monarch.
