Their website lists every licensed assisted living facility in Utah and also includes basic contact information and safety inspection records. This site includes photos, detailed costs, amenities, maps and reviews from existing assisted living residents. With these two sources of information, we hope to make selecting an assisted living facility for yourself or a loved one a much simpler task.
This site was created after I flew home and tried to find an assisted living facility and nursing home option before my father was discharged from the hospital after a stroke. This task was stressful enough because of my father's abrupt health issues and was made even more difficult because I found it difficult to find complete information about this or rounding area. I do that my father wanted to stay close to his home but I had not lived in the area in quite awhile. Driving from one facility to another in heavy traffic while trying to learn the ins and outs of different facilities was extremely difficult. We hope that you find our map feature useful in finding the nearest facilities. We also hope that you find enough detail on the site that you can quickly build a long list of options. I recommend that you visit as many assisted living facilities as possible and speak to the staff and residents. Once you have merit your selection down to your top two or three, use the checklist available on the side to help you pick the very best option.
