The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), a federal agency, requires that all hospices maintain an ongoing Quality Assessment/Performance Improvement (QAPI) program. This QAPI program epasses all areas and departments of HMC, and ALL employees of HMC have a role in maintaining this successful program. Hospice of Marshall County is committed to providing exceptional, individualized care for those coping with end-of-life issues. To learn more about our QAPI program "hospicemc.org/about-hospice-of-marshall-county/quality-program/quality-assessmentperformance-improvement/">click here.

Our commitment to quality includes:

  • Providing quality of life for our patients and their families.
  • Providing quality services to the community.
  • Providing a quality place of employment.

We use data measurement tools to help us see how well we are doing in relation to national and state quality hospice standards. In addition, we use family satisfaction surveys to get feedback on the performance of our programs. Inspections from state organizations help us determine the quality program we offer to the community.
