OUR MISSIONS - Is to provide the best possible in-home care we can render to our residents. To stand by ourmitment to safety, cleanliness, great food, and program activities that will enhance the well-being of our clients. We will guide and support our clients through the most difficult time of their life, to protect their dignity, and to present them our utmost respect.

Jasmine Garden focusing on the idea of a first class service as a way to achieve it's goal of becoming a success in caregiving.

The Basics

•ADL's - Activities of Daily Living

- Our home will perform the task of providing assistance in grooming, dressing, bathing, feeding, toileting, standby assistance for showering, assistance in maintaining prosthetics, eye glasses, and other devices. We will also observe and report any changes in physical, mental, emotional, and social functions. Related tasks include notification of family, physicians, and other designated individual or agencies.

 •Food Service

We provide 3  nutritious gourmet's meals daily and provide special nutritional meal that conform with our client dietary care plan. Snacks will be readily available anytime from morning till 9:00 pm. Our kitchen will conform to safe food preparation and storage. Bedside service is also available as a basic service to our residents who were unable to partake with the others due to illness or other condition. We welcome a visiting family member to partake meals with our clients, just call the facility in advance. Resident's birthdays and anniversaries will also be celebrated and honored.

 •Medication Assistance

Assistance with the taking of prescribed and over-the-counter medications in accordance with physician’s instructions unless prohibited by law or regulations. (One of our administrator staff is a licensed Registered Nurse that have the right training to assist client on self administering medication.) We also handle the ordering and pick up if necessary of prescribed medications and PRN's, or arrange with pharmacist for delivery.  Our caregivers and other administrator of our facility, have gone thru a training process and certified to help client in regards to medication assistance, this training boost their knowledge of proper maintenance, dispensing, and assisting prescribed medications. This training is in compliance of section 1569.69 of the Health and Safety Code.)

 •Continuous Care and Supervision - Safety and a better well being for our residents is our main concern. Stages of life for our elderly is a natural occurrence that needed attentions, we believe in the notion of continuous care and supervision being beneficial to our residents.

•Program Activities - Bingo's, board games, and other wholesome and fun games will be provided. Karaoke singing, gardening, nintendo WII sports video games, just a few to mention will also be a part of the residents program activities.

 •Supportive Services - residents in need of communication assistance, for example, making telephone calls, email, letter writing, or even web browsing. Runner in shopping for small items at the request of the resident or responsible person.

 •Transportation Free of Charge - unlike other facilities, Jasmine Garden will provide transportation as part of the basic service. This include medical, dental, beauty shop, barber, appointments. We also provide transport to shopping destination locally. Our facility have a dedicated transportation for that purpose.

 •Planned Outings - we will transport our residents to indoor or outdoor activities listed in our program guides. We will also coordinate with various agencies that caters with seniors and other civic institutions that our residents wanted to attend to.

 •Laundry and Housekeeping Service - linens and bath will be laundered as often as needed. Daily room cleaning and bed make up is also a norm. We do weekly laundry on normal unsoiled clothing and bed sheets. Soiled clothing will be handled quickly as possible.

 •Computer and Internet Access - as an added benefit we allow access of our clients to use the facility common computer, which is centrally located in our activity room. The computer will only be used and limited to audio and visual entertainments, picture editing, email and video conferencing with friends and families. Restriction of such access and usage is listed in our admission agreement and the house rule. 

Optional Services

HOSPICE CARE -  In the event of a life changing situation for our residents, hospice care might be needed as prescribed by a physician.  Our facility had a "hospice waiver" from the Department of Social Services, in order to perform service in relate to hospice care. Our admission agreement had a list of criteria for us to be able to continue serving our resident if time comes.

INCONTINENCE CARE - assistance for incontinence is also provided. Supplies is not included, a 3rd party supplier of incontinent products will be contacted for delivery or pickup of such items.
