Upcoming classes include computers, art, personal well-being, and crafts and hobbies. Trips include an "East Coast Casino Tour," "Riverside Theater in Fredericksburg," and "Suffolk Peanut Festival," among others. Some activities include bingo, line dancing, bridge, and scrapbooking. The city boasts some excellent museums and cultural attractions such as the Mariners' Museum, Virginia War Museum, the U.S. Army Transportation Museum, the Peninsula Fine Arts Center and the Ferguson Center for the Arts. The Virginia Living Museum has a wildlife park, aquarium, botanical preserve and planetarium.
