I visit my mother at Desert Winds Assisted Living 2-3 times a year since I live out of state. On my last visit I found her hearing aids were not it. It was mid afternoon and she couldn't hear my Hello. On another day we arrived to find her on the toilet crying out for someone to help her off. When I asked for help they did not arrive for almost another 15 minutes. With the time change between our states and my job I cannot call earlier than evening her time. There are days they have put her to bed before 8pm her time so she cannot answer the phone. For the amount Desert Winds charges she deserves much better care. I feel they are short staffed or just don't care
