They have a different view of care at this place. They don't just tuck people in their rooms all day and leave them there. Rock Creek believes that it is healthier to be out in a common area where people can interact with others or just nap in a comfortable chair. Staff is always stopping and chatting with people as they move to other duties. My mom has reached the stage of full care and the cost is standard for that level of care. Her health has actually improved since she has been there.
