Fair Oaks Manor

Fair Oaks Manor is a residential facility designed to serve mentally challenged adults. We provide quality care, supervision and training to residents. Residents are provided with spacious residential accommodations, recreational areas, backyard patio lounge and designated smoking zones. Family members are encouraged to visit residents and to participate in their everyday life.

Fair Oaks Manor does not utilize any form of adverse behavior modifications or physical discipline. Rather we utilize positive reinforcement and redirecting methods to evoke positive and appropriate behaviors. Fair Oaks Manor is proud to have successfully helped some of our residents reach their goal of independent living.

Fair Oaks Manor serves adults with the following Mental Health Conditions:

Psychotic Disorders

Schizophrenia

Schizoaffective Disorder

Depression

Bipolar / Mania

General and Social Anxiety Disorders

Services:

Board and care includes

3 meals per day

Laundry service (optional)

Room cleaning

24-hour staff supervision

Medication dispensation

Doctor appointments

House visits by doctors and psychiatrists

We work with highly experienced physicians, psychiatrists, podiatrist, and other health professionals. Residents can also have the option with remaining with their doctors.

Our History

Fair Oaks Manor was established by Anita Almero in 1986. Fair Oaks Manor began as one facility on Fair Oaks Avenue in Pasadena. Since then it has grown to two adult residential facilities, with each facility offering an array of services for every individual’s needs. The facility in Pasadena offer services to adults with developmental disabilities while the Highland Park facility offers services to mental health residents. Fair Oaks Manor is proud to have successfully helped some of our residents reach their goal of independent living.
