Deerwood RCFE

Is a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) and serves persons 60 and older. We provide room, board, housekeeping, supervision, and personal care assistance for basic activities like personal hygiene, dressing, eating, and walking. We centrally store and distribute medications for residents to self-administer. We can assist in making medical/dental appointments and if local, transportation to the appointment. This level of care and supervision is for people who are unable to live by themselves but who do not need 24 hour nursing care. We are considered a non-medical facility and are not required to have nurses, certified nursing assistants, or doctors on staff. Is a quiet country estate setting on 5 wooded acres with residents living all on one floor with no stairs for residents to climb. There is a large private living room for family visits, that has a piano for resident use.
