Resident & family reviews

good HR but some of the staff are questionable

On a particular day a combative resident was hard to handle as he has been for a while but witnessed by another staff one staff member abused this resident by stuffing a wipe in his mouth -she was sent home but a week or so later was allowed to come back many times i wanted to tell the family what i knew but i will lose my job i feel it is a cover up and this is not the only time i bare witness to abuse. maple leaf is a good facility however some of the best staff have left there because they feel HR plays favoritism to people that have been there a while. one staff left because of family issue but i know its because she felt pushed out because she knew stuff. others left but i wont say why. I miss the staff and the clients
