As a physician in WNY for almost 50 years I have interacted with several assisted living facilities in the Western New York Area. This is the only facility I would place a family member in. Feel free to contact me if you have questions about the care at Orchard Heights. I have interacted with the administrator and the staff for the last three years and highly recommend them.

I would give this facility 100 stars. The main reason this facility is so great is the administration. The administrator is always available and accessible to residents and family. She resolves any problem or issue brought to her attention ASAP - usually in 24 hours or less. Her staff is well qualified and trained. The facility is spotless. Never smells bad. Bright and cheerful. The food is unbelievable. Fresh cooked meals, fresh vegetables and fruit. Numerous choices. Wonderful servers who truly care about the residents and greet each and every one of them by name and with a smile. The aides are caring and compassionate. There are constant activities for the residents to participate in. They have music entertainment three times a week. The laundry is done daily and is always clean and neat. Maintenance responds immediately to any issue in any part of the building. The nurses are loving and compassionate and know their jobs. They go above and beyond to insure that each and every resident is cared for. Only one problem in the entire place. There is an ice cream parlor with 8 flavors - twice a day - and no limit.
