Resident & family reviews
I am a professional musician, and Sage Harbor and Baywinde are regular customers of mine. They are lovely facilities, the folks there always seem in good spirits to me, and the staff always treat me professionally . I enjoy playing for these folks and they seem to have a good quality of life there. Just thought i should say so!

I don't know about that last review, but my Mother loves her apartment at Sage Harbor. There have been major changes lately. The residents get so much personal care. I have never smelled urine. The staff escort the residents to all of the activities so they don't miss them The menu is great with fantastic home made soups. I was told they are improving it again to add more choices. They offer wonderful music programs and really tune in to everyone's favorite things to do. The director is always there getting to know what every one's parent wants personally. The nurses are great and take care of everything for my mom. The executive director Rob Aroesty is hands on and is always available. A different kind of administrator. Check out this senior community for your parent. You wont be disappointed. May cost a little more than some of the newer communities but has a caring staff and you are treated like family.

My friend's father lives at Baywinde and they cannot say enough good things about it. He compares it to living on a cruise ship! They're not worried about him being alone at his house anymore and they know he is in good hands. He loves to go the YMCA which is right across the parking lot.

Residents watch TV most of the day or stay in their rooms/lay in bed. Urine smell is prevalent in the room. Activities outside the building require residents to sign up for them at the desk (most residents are unable to do that) Food selections are extremely limited and include inexpensive chicken, turkey, hot dogs, pizza type selections. Cold sandwiches served for supper. Although my parent has been there for several years, I cannot recommend Baywinde to others.
