Successful inpatient rehab for spinal cord injury

Villa Maria's rehab program did more for my mother in one week than Eventide Fargo could accomplish in 59 days of skilled nursing rehab. Villa's nurse and therapists spoke with my Mom about her goals and how best to achieve those goals to include returning home to her assisted living apartment. My mother likes the demeanor of the therapists and finds their feedback helpful. She says they are absolutely responsive to her needs and comments. Mom is pleased with Villa's work to find pain management solutions that won't interfere with her PT / OT, which is in stark contrast to the program at Eventide Fargo where they prescribe meds like Flexeril and Oxycodone without monitoring for effects. As a family, we are all hopeful again about her recovery whereas Eventide Fargo left us without hope of having Mom discharged to her home ever again. In only 24 hours, Villa Maria saved my mother from living the rest of her life without independence. Mom likes the food, the room, the CNAs and I find the front office staff to be very helpful and responsive. The admissions counselor, Vicki, is very knowledgable and efficient. She helped us get Mom out of Eventide Fargo and over to Villa Maria. We are so grateful for their responsive, knowledgeable, accountable, and caring restorative therapy team. Thank you Villa Maria!
