I brought my mother here from a hospital stay to build her strength from a hospital stay. She was in the bed for a week and needed to regain her walking strength. This place is horrible. Lets start with the fact she was left in bed all day in the same hospital gown from the hospital. If you know rehabilitation units they are to get them ready to go back into their environment. . or even nursing home, each resident is to have dressing assistance and be up all day. Just like if you were at home. My mother came their from assisted living. She was very independent leaving the hospital. Within a few days, they were hand feeding her, still leaving her in bed (even with my complaints and made the OT help her dress). There is no walker in her room for her to ambulate to the bathroom, instead, they put a diaper on her. The nurse call light is constantly moved away from her reach. A person could walk out of this place and no one would notice. Staff is present, but playing at the front desk. No one is paying attention to who walks in or goes. Dangerous place. If you want you loved one to be neglected and debilitate, induced depression, then this is the place. If you love your loved one, I urge you to look somewhere else!!!!!!
