Resident & family reviews
WE RECENTLY MOVED MY MOTHER TO THE TEXAN. FOR THE FIRST TIME IN YEARS MY MOM WAS ACTUALLY LAUGHING AND VERY HAPPY. THE ASSISTANCE SHE IS RECEIVING IS HELPING HER GET WELL AND SHE IS REGAINING THE STRENGTH AND MUSCLES SHE USED TO HAVE. THE FOOD IS GREAT, THE STAFF IS FRIENDLY AND TRYING TO HELP US BRING MOM HOME AGAIN. At this nursing home my mom doesn't sound or appear over-medicated!!!!Today mom was so proud of herself as she was able to walk a few steps using a walker. At the previous nursing home she was in, she was rarely out of bed and groggy all the time.
