My mom had total knee replacement surgery and I had to find a
skilled nursing facility for her to recover. I chose Country View Manor
because it looked good on the internet.
The driver who took her from the hospital to the facility was in a hurry
and caused the nurse to release her from the hospital in a hurry as
well. She didn't get a chance to change into her clothes. In the
middle of January I was afraid she might get cold so I gave her my
jacket at least. I followed them to Country View Manor and saw that my
mom was bleeding down her arm because her IV was taken out
quickly. I got my mom in and she was taken to lunch and was given a
piece of pie. I had to tell them she's diabetic, it didn't occur to the
staff to ask if there were any restrictions. That almost happened again
the day I took her home 4 long days later.
The staff didn't know how to use the CPM machine and didn't
communicate well among each other. The menu was the same all
week. Overall I hope I never have to go back to that place.
