Resident & family reviews
Last winter this facility's population dropped, so they reduced staffing. This
caused serious delays in med management, less frequent housekeeping service,
poor laundry service and a decline in the quality of food and overall care.
Now there population is much higher, but they haven't brought their staffing
back up. They have had to create two meal times, so that kitchen and wait staff
can try to meet residents needs. Housekeeping is only allowed 10 minutes for 2
staff to clean each apartment. There is only one custodian/handyman to do all
repairs and maintenance. Laundry is done by whatever staff has time to drop by
between other duties. Many laundry items don't get returned to their rightful
owner, regardless of their being labeled, or stained, torn or otherwise ruined.
There are very few long term staff, high turn over and morale is low. They truly
want to give good service, but are too understaffed and have become frustrated.
Things look good on the surface, but, underneath their outward appearance, all
is not well at this facility.
