Emerald Groves

Save yourself a lot of trouble and stay far away from any Emerald
Grove Facility. 19 months stay at this facility and we watched resident
care go downhill. Constant turnover in care staff left my bed bound
mother in disarray when a new caregiver took charge of her hygiene
every week. Staff always complained of being overworked, underpaid,
and favoritism by management. My mother was flustered with Spanish
speaking caregivers and could never figure out what they were saying.
All meals were prepared in the morning, and left in crock-pots till
dinner. No choices in meals, just served whatever they planned for
that day. Nice facility but zero amenities. Not enough staff to help in
residents needs during the evening. 45 minutes to respond to call bell
is intolerable. I do not recommend any Emerald Grove facility in the
Mesa area as they are run by the same husband and wife owners.
