A licensed continuing care retirement community, Carlsbad By The Sea offers additional care as youneed it. The hallmark of our care is personal attention in warm, intimate surroundings where each
staff member knows your likes and dislikes. In addition to the supportive continuing care services
offered through our clinic or in the privacy of your own home we offer two additional levels of care.

Resident & family reviews
I have been unpleasantly surprised at the lack of resident input and approval
of "forced" care provided by assisted living. They invaded my dad's privacy,
made their own assessments without his approval, his doctor's or family's
knowledge or approval, and then proceeded to "provide" (force) care without a
contract or agreement. I have been summoned to intercede on his behalf but
have been stonewalled. Now they have the audacity to begin charging him for
this unwanted, unsolicited care. They have not been hired for this care and
refuse to stop. I am currently working with his long term insurance provider
and a geriatric care manager. So far Carlsbad by the Sea Assisted Living has
refused to stop. They have stated that even if we use another provider they
will not stop!! They have actually resorted to intimidation and bullying.
SOMETHING MUST BE DONE ABOUT THIS ABUSE OF POWER AND
INTIMIDATION!
