Los Robles Care Center

I have toured this facility and found it to be very clean and odor free.
It is licensed now for 74 beds of Skilled Nursing Care. They have and
use a large Jacuzzi whirlpool tub with a lift. The food service, which I
have also sampled, is excellent. I am told that they recently
completed over $1.4 Million in renovations and improvements -- and
it shows. This included new beds, carpeting, furnishing and fixtures.
There are many original oil paintings on the walls with serene pastoral
settings. There is a home-like atmosphere that reminds me more of
a hotel lobby than a hospital. They were recently awarded a 5 out of
5 star rating on the U.S. Government website run by Medicare for
their Nursing Home Compare services. For being a 5-star facility,
their rates seem to me to be very reasonable if not below market.
Also, when I make a visit to my loved one, I enjoy visiting the resort
town atmosphere of Ojai. It is quiet and quaint and comfortable.
Yes, I have to drive a little way, but it's well worth it. After all, my
loved has to be there ALL the time, so why not let that be a place that
is rated 5 stars? Highly Recommended!
