Hospitalized after hip surgery, a physician told us Dad would be transferred to STAH&R. We told him we had chosen Moultrie Creek rehab. He said, no, he would be going to STAH&R as he was the physician there and would be overseeing his care daily. He did not inform us that we had the choice. He did not see our father in that facility. They served him dry pizza for dinner. He had no teeth! His dentures had been removed due to a thrush infection! The next day the electricity went out, it was insufferably hot. They told us they could not get it fixed for a few days. We had an ambulance take him back to the hospital. He died very shortly thereafter.
