Windsor Estates Health And Rehabilitation Center

After having had a family member in this nursing facility, we felt
confident putting my father here. Little did we know that things were
falling apart at the seams from a management standpoint and the
quality of care was becoming substandard. Gone were the friendly,
happy caregivers and in were those just there to were overloaded with
lists of chores. We were called on a constant basis to come sit and
watch my father due to complaints that he was restless and they had
no time to spend with him. I watched as his supper tray was brought
in and before I had a chance to try to feed him someone was there to
take it away because they knew he wouldn't eat it anyway. We have
moved on. But a warning to those with family members with any level
of dementia or Alzheimer, be ready to be on call day or night to come
there and babysit.
