Fox Run Village

This review if for the long term care facility at Fox Run Village.
We paid over $20,000/month for my parents to live here. The quality of care and living
environment is sub par.
1. Lack of communication: the staff does not communicate well with each other, nor with
families of residents.
2. High turnover rate
3. Small resident rooms
4. Small and crowded dining and common living areas. Not designed well for people in
wheelchairs or that use walkers.
5. Food is terrible. Not alot of options for residents on dietary restrictions. My mom gained
over 40 pounds in 8 months!
6. Lack of activities: some days nothing is scheduled. It is very common to see residents
lined up in front of the TV.
7. Lack of training and short staffed

Lastly, my dad lived in memory care and was considered a high fall risk. A care plan was
created to prevent more falls. The care plan was NOT implemented. My dad passed away as
a direct result from a fall at this facility. he had his third fall in 3 weeks, he was in severe
pain and they offered NO MEDICAL TREATMENT. Our family took him to hospital--he had 3
broken ribs and dies from complications.

The state did an investigation and found Fox Run GUILTY of not providing a safe/secure
environment, They have been downgraded to a G rating (ratings are A thru L, so G is not for
good!).
