Beware

My father was sent to this facility in his last days. He had received great care at cox hospital and all his doctors there were great. He was passing away and we all were aware of this fact. The veterans sent him to this home and we were fine with it until we got there. He was druged the whole time so he never really knew what was happening. However from the time we entered the building we knew they had problems. The place stunk like urine and they have no bed rails only mats on the floor they call landing strips. My father lived only 23 hours there. However they moved him to the last room at the end of the hall far away from the nurses station and i am the one who found him dead. They never called to let my mom or myself know he was close to the end as we had requested. The staff makes the decisions and tell the so called doctor what to do for the patients. I hope before you put your self or loved one at this place you would think twice. I would put anyone i know here ever again. I wish someone would really investigate.
