To maximize corporate profits perhaps the staff to resident ratio is
deplorable. Since it is not set by any state standard, the staff has a high
turnover because although they care for their residents, there aren't
enough of them or enough time to really provide good care.

Their food service problems include constant menu substitutions (looks
good to visitors but not what is really served...fresh fruit and leafy greens,
dried fruit are on the menu but cakes and desserts are the rule.) Lots of
pork products every day even for low salt diets. A lot of artificial
sweeteners. Too cheap to provide condiments like mayonnaise or ketchup,
the staff have been buying them on their own to provide for the residents.

While there I was subjected to two drug errors that could have killed me
but sent me to the hospital twice, regardless. Was threatened by a nurse
that I had to take the meds.

Was harassed in my room daily when a $496 bill was due when Medicare
and Medicaid were already covering $4850 of the $5280 bill already. Their
business office person in the hallway outside my room in the presence of
my guest and in hearing of other residents screamed and yelled at me
about my personal information and finances 3 separate times. My filed
complaints of abuse yielded a threat to transfer me out to another facility
80 miles from my home.
