Tri County Extended Care Center

My Mother went there to rehab after being in the hospital for a UTI and she got 3 more while in this facility. They changed her diaper only 2 times a day when she got up in the morning and about 6:30 in the evening. She was raw and when she got the third UTI I had them send her to the hospital where the nurse documented how raw she was which was due to the fat that she was only changed 2 times a day and the UTIs were also due to the fact that they did not change her often enough. My Mother had been there a year before and got wonderful care but this time it was terrible. I did notice that some of the nurses and aides she had the first time were no longer there and I found out that this facility dropped the insurance on their employees. Imagine a place that relies on insurance to pay their bills refuses to give insurance to their employees. This place only wants the money and does not care how your elderly relative is treated.
