My mom was sent here from Abington Hospital for rehabilitation after
a heart accident/car accident. Horrible (I know--I visited her ever day)!
Depressing, smelly, a nightmare. The rehab room is small with limited
equipment for physical therapy (?therapy? consisted of hand weights
and those cheap bicycle units they sell in catalogs for $20). Nursing
staff were never available to talk?I waited at the desk for 20 minutes
or more before anyone would come, and they always promised to
correct problems and never did. On her last day there, Mom had a
stroke in the bathroom, and no one answered the call bell. Her
roommate finally used her cell phone to call the nursing station. When
a nurse came she yelled??Margaret! You should be able to get up on
your own!? Fortunately we found a better facility when Mom was
released after her stroke.
