Kindred Hospital Pittsburgh - North Shore

I feel Kindred caused our family an unbelievable amount of stress when my mother was a patient there. They continuously insisted on placing a feeding tube when my mother had already signed a form saying she did NOT want it. They badgered us and pressured my mother repeatedly when we were only trying to abide by her wishes. The doctors were never available for communication with families. When I finally got through to a doctor and informed him of my concerns that my mother had C diff ( a dangerous infection of the colon) I was dismissed. My mother dies of this infection several weeks later.
