My mother was there for 3 weeks, had developed a severe UTI that
became septic according to the hospital, had a severe rash on her
groin & conjunctivitis (pink eye). Her tongue was white from not being
swabbed as it should be and her Foley tube was no longer transparent
as there was so much sediment in it. Twice in 2 weeks she had to be
rushed to the Hospital because she was non-responsive. 1st time
they also said her Peg line (feeding tube) was clogged because they
weren't flushing it properly. I had brought up these concerns with the
head of Rehab, head of Nursing & the floor supervisor as well as 4 of
her nurses. Nothing was done. I also asked twice for a copy of the
medications she was receiving, have yet to receive a that.
