About Sherwood Oaks

This was the philosophy that guided a group of men and women who founded Sherwood Oaks. This handful of volunteers who would later become
the first residents of the retirement Pittsburgh community, collectively visited over 50 retirement communities in Pittsburgh's metro area
before they incorporated, raised funds and bought 84 acres of farmland in what was then sparsely populated Cranberry Twp., PA.
