My Mother

My mother was in this facility for months. If she had to go to the bathroom during mealtime, she was ignored and often had to lie in her feces until the staff could finish the meal serving time. They did not respond promptly to her calls. My husband's father was also in this place for a short time and was left to sit on the toilet for hours before my husband found him in the same place several hours after he had left and came back. My mother's new gown was stolen, too. This has been a decade ago and perhaps it has changed.
