Sagecrest Alzheimer's Care Center & The Green House Homes @ Sagecrest

At Baptist Retirement Community, we know the many challenges facing families who are coping

with memory-related impairments. It's why we offer the Sagecrest Alzheimer's Care Center and the

Green Houses @ Sagecrest-our 24-hour licensed Alzheimer’s nursing community. We focus on the

remaining skills of those with dementia and encourage as much independence as possible. We

seek to understand their life history before the dementia began and to honor the person they are

now. Respecting each personality and the elder’s ability to make choices, the plan of care is

specific to each individual and person centered.

As we minister to the whole person, we strive to ensure that physical, emotional and spiritual

needs are met. We help create special moment’s everyday through our interactions and

meaningful engagement. Our staff supports both the elders and their family members during their

time at Sagecrest and the Green Houses. Our goal is for each elder to be treated with dignity and

respect throughout their dementia journey.
