My parents were placed in this facility last minute!! My father has Parkinson's and my mother Alzheimer's!! The owner never asked us to fill out ANY ACHA forms just wanted his check for $2200!! NONE of the staff speaks English (my parents do not speak Spanish..the owner does not even speak English) My mother was in her usual "Alzheimer's" mood and was taken to WESCHESTER Hospital with out even a phone call to my sister and I..the only reason we knew is because my aunt was there at the time!! When I got off of work to go over the "attendant" lit a cigarette on the gas stove in the house as I waited for s friend to translate!!! When my sister had spoken to a representative of the hospital they listed a battery of medication that this "facility" was giving my mother and NONE of the medications that were being administered where prescribed by her doctor!!!! The next day they took my father to LARKIN Hospital claiming he had a fever and was not eating..no phone call once again!! The hospital had called my sister!!! Still one week later no ACHA forms..these people didn't even know my parents SS#, address nor ages!! REALLY??? The state REALLY needs to give this place a surprise visit!!! All the while my sister had been calling the "administrator" Alicia NO ANSWER!! When they "tried" to call the "owner" Jose NO ANSWER!!! When they wanted their check for $2200 everyone was accessible!! Supposedly even the staff couldn't get in touch with them....what if the house burned down who would they call then???
