Do not be fooled by their first appearance. They are currently under
investigation by Adult Protective Services, Office of Attorney General,
and Medicaid Fraud Office. The administrator's husband, Troy Hendry,
was arrested and charged with exploitation of a 76 year old resident at
the facility. He continues to be present almost daily at the facility
doing work. Do not send a loved one there.

I looked at 20 ALF's around Tallahassee and knew this was the place for mom. It's now called
Southern Living for Seniors. Troy & Jenny live on the property and that personal attention
assured quality care and close staff oversight. They took most of the burden of caring for mom
off me. The staff really like working with the elderly. Even when mom got difficult as her
dementia worsened, they worked with me until she moved to a nursing home.
