My mother loves the variety of activities and has within a month has become
friendly with several residents. She adores the staff too and seems to have a
new lease on life.

Don't be fooled. The new manager, Nancy Barnes, is a dictator and
forces residents to do what she wants. She won't allow music playing
and singing in the front area because it's too loud and she can hear it
from her office. That's only one of her many rules. The residents seem
afraid to enjoy themselves. She and her staff pressure the residents to
use a specific home health agency. Most likely because she is getting
a fat check from the home health agency. I tried to complain to her
boss, but upper management company doesn't return phone calls.The
residents look unhappy and I've been told that a few had to move or a
thinking of moving out soon.
