Faith Home

I am dissatisfied with Konette Horton and Faith Home. My family and I are unable to visit our loved one. We feel she is only interested in the money that she is getting from social security. She is violating the rights of my sister because I cannot call her on the phone.

I find this Assisted Living home to be patient-centered and it shows in the personalities of the patients when I visit my brother. The larger facility where my brother was recovering prior to transferring to Faith Home did not have adequate amount of staff for the number of patients and could not provide the type of personal care and administrative support he now receives.

The entire staff at the Faith Home truly cares about their patients and makes them feel they are in their own home. They are given encouragement, pro-active advice in solving a problem and even share in planning daily menus. Patients are encourage to go visit local attractions, stores and restaurants so they feel more independent than just sitting around. This home provides transportation for doctor appointments, shopping, eating out and visiting family who live in the Dallas area.

My family is very thankful to know our brother is getting excellent care. I salute Ms Horton for her innovate caregiver methods as she is truly helping people who are mentally and physically unable to live by themselves feel more confident and happy.

This facility has had no complaints and no voilation for the 3 year period before 9/1/08
