Memorial Hermann Hospice

My mother has been with Memorial Hermann Hospice for approx. two years. Over this time, my mother has been turned over to a collection agency because the AMR transport who picked her up for respite care billed Medicare (which they are not supposed to do) and the balance was billed to my mother. The manager at MMH never acknowledged my letter, she has not returned my phone call in the past, when I have called about issues with the nurses, the nurse calls me and confronts me about what I complained about, if the aide does not show up or her visit is on a holiday, they do not call to reschedule and it has now been over a week since the aide has been out to bath my mother and I have not heard from the nurse. I called the office and asked to speak to the case mgr - she never called.

This facility has had no complaints and no voilation for the 3 year period before 9/1/08
