The Good Shepherds Haven Inc

Good Shepherds Haven requires an upfront $1000 down payment to reserve a
space. This was provided almost four weeks prior to admission of my mother as
a resident. The Washington State nurse interviewed my mother and determined
she was not a fit candidate for this group home due to her dementia. The nurse
notified the owner of her determination but the owner refused to refund the
deposit or any part thereof. The deposit should not be taken until the State
nurse assesses the resident as fit to reside in the group home. No cost was
incurred by the owner in this instance other than a short visit with my mother.
