Resident & family reviews
This place is a mess, the care giver's could care less if my parent is bathed or
not, The food is terrible and most is inedible. If the resident don't want what they
cooked they are given a bowl of cereal or a grilled cheese. My parent's room is
never clean and most of the time the clothes she is wearing is dirty. The staff is
not trained, I think they hire people off the street's, because of low pay they can't
get experienced workers. If they would hire trained people and a good cook Home
Place could be the ideal place. For what they charge I expect more from them.
They constantly call or meet me at the door to tell me things such as my parent
won't bathe, etc. This is the reason my parent is there to receive the care that
we pay for. The owner is a Joke. He is being indited for Tax evasion with the IRS.
He don't care about the elderly, all he care's about is the money. I have been
there on pay day and had a friend that worked there and their pay checks were
bouncing. The telephone has been disconnected before, no trash pick up due to
not paying the bill, water turned off due to non payment. The State has finally
stepped in but I don't see much of a change for the better.

I really don't know about this place but the one in Columbus is a
mess. I wouldn't want my dog to even live in this place. The
administrator Yvonne Fortner keep up a lot of mees, she is very
unprofessional and uneducated. She don't even have a degree better
yet, a GED. This place is horrible as I speak. I f you pass by there
you will see that the trash hasn't been emptied in weeks. Their is
never any money in the bank for payroll, lights and water is being cut
off because someone is not managing their money. Yvonne Fortner
and Dennis Nooner need to be replace. There is always a problem
going on over off Yorkville Rd.

This place is a joke. It could be the ideal Assisted Living Facility if not for the
owner. I have never seen such Caios, on pay day it is crazy around there, all of
the employee's pay check's bounce. As much as we pay this place I would like to
know where the money is going. The food is not nutritious, some of it is inedible.
Again, for the money we pay our loved one's should be given food choice's and
nutritional food. There is a big turn over of employee's and no wonder, I wouldn't
work for a place that don't have the money to cover my pay check.
