Rhodes Estates

This facility does not provide the care that it advertises. My parents chose to reside here
believing they would receive "ASSISTANCE" and did not. I am a registered nurse in PA and I
provided the care to them on a daily basis. This facility took advantage of me since I was not
Power of Attorney and could not remove my parents. Do not reside or have someone you love
reside at this facility. I found it necessary to report their negligence to the PA Dept. Of Welfare,
their governing body for licensure. Very poor care and lack there of.

My parents chose to reside at Rhodes Estates in New Castle, Pa and it
was a HUGE mistake. I am a registered nurse and I found this facility
to be of very poor quality. The staff has very poor knowledge on the
care and needs of the elderly. I have discovered that an assisted
living facility such as this does not have to follow guidelines
necessary to care for the needs of the aged. An elderly person who
resides here MUST provide their own care. I found it necessary to
visit my parents daily to be assured that they were provided the
necessary care. This is a for profit facility that will quickly use
your money. I would NOT recommend this facility. Very Poor.
