Borgess Visiting Nurse and Hospice

Our family has had the chance to meet about 15 of their staff
personally. We were always so pleased with their kindness,
professionalism, promptness, and attention to our concerns. Then one
day toward the end of mothers care a women walked right in my
house with no identification . When asked who she was she just said
she was from Borgess visiting nurses. She didn't say what dept. and we
had no idea anyone was coming that day . She had not called and
said she "left her ID at home" I asked if she was from the PT. She
didn't answer, asked where was my mom and just kept walking through
my house uninvited! It went downhill from there. She was rude and
demanding to both my mother and I. She obviously wasn't happy in
her job. She raised her voice to both of us. It turns out it was a physical
evaluation just because my mom is labeled with dementia. We informed her
she was not allowed in our house again Called the co. to be sure she
even was from there. Th head of the dept. said she was sorry and
would talk to all in involved. When calling months later I needed to
make reference to this episode and the supervisor (the same one who
I spoke to much earlier) said she didn't know anything about this .
They need to acknowledge and take care of their wrong doings. If you
didn't have a problem before ,you sure will after this so called"mental
health nurse"visits
