friends to enjoy. When you visit Elkhart, be sure to visit The Havilah Beardsley, Elkhart’s founding
father’s historic home. Elkhart is home to the RV and Manufactured Housing Hall of Fame. In April,
the residents at Beardsley House like to stop at the Maple Syrup Festival just down the road in
Wakarusa for parades, tours, and, of course, maple syrup. Year round, our resident community trips
include shopping at Concord Mall or Easy Shopping Place. Stop on by Beardsley House any day for a
variety of indoor activities and socialization. Each morning, you will see our walking club starting
their day off on the right foot at Beardsley House. There’s Wii bowling matches, bingo games, and
cooking club during the day. End the day with movies or Bible study with friends.

Respite/transitional care program

Beardsley House offers short-term respite care for individuals recovering from surgery, an illness
or other health issues or short stays for a loved one, so that you can take a break.
