Interim Healthcare

My Grandmother moved to Sharon Brooke and at first it appears to be a really
nice place with all of the amenities that an AL can provide. Better than most
actually and they have a good "presentation". However after only being there a
week or so problems started. When we try to talk to staff about the care,
issues, or her needs it seems we are always a nuance which is a concern to the
family. They advertise coordinating individualized care. After moving her in,
Nursing staff and Administration now comes off with a VERY crass demeanor and
does not seem at all like they listen to our concerns. We have been to different
homes and though they were not as nice appearance-wise, we have NEVER had staff
talk down to us about concerns before. We have walked in several times to find
multiple aids socializing instead of caring for residents during weekend and
evening hours or her being left alone during activities. Be very vigilant when
choosing this facility especially for special "memory" care. We will be looking
soon for a new facility if customer service and care we are paying for does not
