Resident & family reviews
This facility looks wonderful but the way they treat their residents and
families is awful. All the administrator cares about is filling beds. She
will tell you any lie she can to fill her building. Their "care team"
really doesn't care and are only there to earn a paycheck. I have never
met anyone who was more rude and dishonest. I was being charged for
services that my family member never needed and was told some ridiculous
story as to why I couldn't receive a credit. For the type of money you
spend there it should be more than just look nice. The place smells bad
and the activities are not stimulating for lower functioning people. All
the management team will smile in your face but never address your issues,
like why my father is never shaved. Their answer is always he refused...I
don't believe anything they say and would never recommend them to anyone.
I heard state was there on a complaint about someone who fell and nothing
was done and then the person mysteriously ended up with broken
ribs...shame if that would have happened to my father I would have sued
them for being negligent. They all walk around there looking busy doing
nothing. If you walk by that administrators door at the right time you can
hear her making racist comments, talking about families she doesn't like
or just plain gossiping. So disgusting that one. I pray that Brookdale
take a long hard look into that place. I will pray for the ones who have
to live there.
