My family member (has Alzheimer's) was kicked out of Somerford with just
one day's notice.
First notice, no pre-warnings, or attempts to adjust behavioral intervention
techniques.
They just told us that our loved one was "too difficult" for their facility.
Conclusion: they will gladly take your money as long as your loved one sticks
to their wheelchair, so to speak. They cherry-pick easy patients and get rid of
the difficult ones without letting you know that when you first sign up -- and
in our case, spend THREE YEARS getting our loved one used to the place!
The director is extremely UNprofessional. I would not recommend this place
because of these facts.
