Crown Pointe Retirement Residence

My parents loved living in the Independent Living at Crown Pointe so
we thought the assisted living would also be great -- wrong!
Unfortunately we learned the hard way that because one part of an
organization is good that other parts may not be also. In our opinion
the assisted living area and rooms are poorly designed, there are very
few activities, supervision of staff and residents is lacking and the
food is OK some day, very poor on others. And for this below average
facility you pay very high prices which can increase based on an
evaluation of resident by a staff member without notification or
discussion with family members. Even though money was not an object
for our loved one, we don't like throwing it away and made the move
to a much nicer place where our family member is also happier.
