I placed my elderly friend here in April 2010. When she arrived she
was able to swallow only liquids she was unable to feed herself she
didn't interact with others and she was totally withdrawn. Now five
months later she is eating well feeding herself talking with staff and
table mates and taking an interest in the newspaper and TV. I credit
the loving caring people of Serenity House who have cajoled and
encouraged her to participate in life. A friend who has been a
registered nurse for 40 years went to visit with me and she was so
impressed...saying that this was the nicest facility she has ever seen.
