The Fountains at Sea Bluffs

In his seafaring travelogue Two Years Before the Mast, Richard Dana called Dana Point and environs "the only romantic spot in California." This was in 1840 and the boast may still hold true.

Dana Point is most famous for its harbor and its seven miles of coastal bluffs and rolling hills along the Pacific Ocean. Best known of these bluffs is the "Headlands" which overlooks Dana Point Harbor.
