The city maintains over 500 acres of parks. One is the 100-acre Prime Desert Woodland Preserve, which boasts three miles of trails, an interpretive center and events such as bird watching and “moon walks.” The newly renovated Lancaster Boulevard—aka The BLVD—is the place to go downtown.
