For seniors wanting to continue their education, the Orlando area has a number of life-long learning programs. The Learning Institute for Elders (LIFE) at the University of Central Florida offers courses ranging from international affairs to art to music. With this program, seniors get student benefits such as use of the library and admission to cultural and sporting events. The Winter Park Library has a Lifelong Learning Institute that offers courses in history, wellness, literature and other topics. Some other venues that offer educational opportunities are the Orange County Library, Maitland Senior Center, Beardall Senior Center, and the Orange County Regional History Center.

In addition, Orange County's five senior centers offer many recreational, cultural and educational activities. These centers are Beardall Senior Center, L. Claudia Allen Senior Citizen Center, Maitland Senior Center, Marks Street Senior Recreation Center, and Winter Springs. To get around the city, ITNOrlando offers door-through-door rides, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
